So I am on the day before my last at Kartell. John Ryan, the Director of Retail is interviewing a very well qualified candidate. She is tall, blond, and Russian, and confident. She seems based on first impressions well suited for the job. She has him laughing. That's a very good sign.
It is strange to be on this side of the experience, watching someone else interview, as it seems like it was only yesterday when I was sitting around that large black Antonio Citterio table being questioned by John, "What is art?" It seems like his interviewing tactics are gentler on applicants with symmetrical hairstyles ( I had to cut off my David Bowie-orange hair for this job).
Thank you Kartell for all the time we have shared. It has been a wonderful opportunity for learning and for me to understand working with many diverse personalities.
