There is little information available about the architect of this beautiful station. I love comming home to it every evening. Its like a testiment to progress in my eyes. I love how whoever envisioned this space would see it as bringing a beautiful experience to many hundreds of people daily. This station opened on January 29, 1973. It is constructed in cast concrete, aluminum, plastic tile and reinforced safety glass.UPDATE 9/14/09
I found a commemorative plaque indicating the architect...
Figured they deserve some recognition somewhere. The firm is "Kitchen and Hunt" which kind of sounds like a game show...
