Just yesterday a client of mine has reminded me of an inspirational industrial designer worthy of note. Dieter Rams is a German designer who was tied most intimately with Braun. Dieter is associated with the Functionalist school. His work is a study in self control. He describes his design ethos as "Weniger, aber besser" roughly translating in English to "Less, but better." Indeed!
