DOUGLASCAIN

Piero Lissoni, the Italian industrial design superstar, just walked into my showroom and introduced himself! I am really shocked. He was very humble and down to earth, as he casually chatted on the phone with the owner of my company Lorenzo Luti! He told me that my store was beautiful, so much so, in fact, that it is prettier than the New York store. I cannot let on about this because this would NOT go over well within Kartell. I hope that he said nice things about me on the phone to Lorenzo. I am dressed well wearing my old favorite Helmut Lang scarf and curdoroy blazer and black tapered jeans and my favorite Cole Haan shoes(looking professional I hope), despite a really upsetting morning with NO time to get ready. I guess when you really really need it, life provides you with the uplifting moment you need. Howaboutws every time that I am having a hard day, I get to meet one of my idols. Sigh.............
