To beat the rain yesterday, while home with a cold, I made a fire in the fireplace. This was my first fire of the winter! These days, you can really notice that the days are getting shorter and the shadows are getting longer and longer. I find a nice curl up by the fireplace helps to make me feel comforted when I am not feeling well. It certainly helped clear my mind for the afternoon.
